Ordering every material at once can create storage, damage and cash-flow problems. A better plan connects each order to the work that is ready to receive it.

    Foundation and structural work

Cement and other concrete-related materials should be ordered against the engineer's programme and the actual readiness of the site. Confirm the required product, quantity, pour date, water and storage arrangements before delivery.

    Blockwork

Order blocks by the walling stage and confirm the required size. Plan where they will be stacked so they do not block access or sit in standing water. A staged block order may be easier to count and protect.

    Driveways, walkways and estate works

Interlocking pavers and precast kerbs should be ordered after the design, measurements, base preparation and access plan are clear. Confirm paver thickness, colour, kerb height and class before paying.

    Use a simple delivery schedule

For each order, record the material, specification, quantity, required date, delivery location, receiving contact and storage area. Share the schedule with the site team and supplier.

    Do not order against guesswork

Use your BOQ, engineer's instruction or project material list. MR DGN can quote available products and delivery, but it does not replace the professional who determines the project's design quantities.

Send MR DGN your material schedule for a staged-supply discussion in Asaba or Okpanam.
